We are the Anderson family.
Billy's passion for working the land with his horses is what brought us here. We have a team of Clydesdale's which we work with in our market garden. Our goal and passion in life is to do all we can for our future. We want to provide chemical free, local seasonal produce not only for our family but our community in the Scottish Borders too. Having suffered health issues within our family we really understand how important it is to put good food into our bodies and that's how our adventure began.

What makes us different
We use horses.
They have a much lower impact on the land than heavy machinery causing less and shorter term damage to soil structure.
It evokes a certain nostalgia for a simpler time, it embodies bucolic life. For those of us seeking to improve our sustainability, they are essentially tractors that run on grass not gas.
In this busy modern world where keeping a low carbon footprint is important perhaps this olden method can be seen as one of the most environmental ones and the only footprint we leave is a hoof in the soil.
